End-User License Agreement (EULA)

Introduction
This End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a binding agreement between you ("End User") and SIA Borebase ("Company"). This Agreement governs the relationship between you and us, and your use of Borebase.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the website you: affirm that you have all of the necessary permissions and authorisations to access and use the website; acknowledge that you have read and that you understand this agreement; represent that you are of sound mind and of legal age (18 years of age or older) to enter into a binding agreement; and accept and agree to be legally bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement.
Professional Use Only
IMPORTANT: The Borebase Service is designed exclusively for use by qualified geotechnical professionals, including but not limited to licensed geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, civil engineers, and other professionals with appropriate education, training, and experience in geotechnical engineering.
The Service is NOT intended for use by the general public, homeowners, or individuals without geotechnical expertise. SIA Borebase assumes no responsibility for use of the Service by unqualified individuals.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the total cumulative liability of SIA Borebase arising out of or related to this Agreement shall not exceed the total amount of fees actually paid by you to SIA Borebase during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid any fees, the maximum liability shall be limited to fifty euros (€50).
License
Subject to the terms of this Agreement, Borebase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to: access and use the Service via web browser for the number of authorized users covered by your subscription plan; receive updates and new features that become available during your active subscription period.
Geotechnical Engineering Disclaimer
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Borebase Service is a data management and analysis tool intended to assist geotechnical professionals. It does NOT constitute professional engineering services, and SIA Borebase does NOT certify, warrant, or guarantee any engineering outcomes.
All outputs from the Service are provided for informational purposes only. Professional verification by licensed engineers is mandatory before any practical application. You assume all risk and responsibility for your use of the Service and its outputs.
